This year, the Multi-Club Workshop will be hosted by
Rotary Club Beograd Centar!
... and we would like to welcome you to be a part of this!

The Multi- Club Workshop is an initiative that started in 2006 with a meeting between Swedish and
Italian Rotary clubs. The idea that these people considered was to develop friendship among people
and find common humanitarian project to support. Leonardo de Angelis from Rotary Club Ravenna
proposed this idea and then brought it from thought to action by starting and coordinating an annual
Multi-Clu b Workshop that were to be hosted by a Rotary club every year. The 1st RI Multi-Club
Workshop was held on 15th September, 2007 at Stockholm, Sweden. And since that first meeting
there has been one Workshop in Bari, Riga, Ravenna, Malmo and Manfredonia. Since 2007, many
Rotarians, Estonian, French, German, Italian, Latvian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish and Swedish have
attended at the Multi-Club Workshop.

The Multi-Club workshop's purposes are:
Workshop: This is where the gathered Rotary clubs together examine what kind of projects they could
perform together.
Pleasure: Build friendship and visit local attractions.

Every year, each club' representative can present one project to the participating Rotarians. And the
task for them is to pick one or more projects to support with a funding. Once the club boards have
definitely approved one or more of the projects selected at the workshop, funds can be transferred to
the bank account of one primary sponsor and project/s can be implemented.

Thanks to the 6past Multi-Club Workshops, the participating Rotary clubs have implemented 11
projects and are implementing 5 more ones, for a total value equal to USS 476.000

that is an average of USS 30.000/project.

All these projects have changed the life of many children!

In the past 6 Multi-Club Workshops, many people have met and enjoyed the local attractions and
convivial events. By these meetings, Rotarians have surely contributed to the Peace in the world.

This year Rotary meeting will take place in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. And its subject will be the
following:

A bridge for Peace

Many Rotarians from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia
meet with many other European fellows.
